The current production of electric power is more and more responsible for environmental problems such as polluted air and global warming. Thus, it is important to reduce in every way the consumption of energy, turning to, when possible, alternative power which can allow a sustainable development to man, without damaging nature.

In this frame of mind, the “Industria Molitoria Mininni”, other than using low energy consumption machinery in its plant, it has implemented in the premises, without disturbing green areas, a 1 Megawatt (950 Kw) photovoltaic system which covers 30% of the milling plant’s needs with a sensitive reduction of CO2 emission. As far as implemented power is concerned, this implant, completely merged into the roof, is currently the largest existing in the South Italy and the third in Italy.
